Sarah Nolan is always coming up with new ideas and fun new looks, and her series of "Botanicals" is no exception. With this group of vests, all on striking white tuxedo silk, she's taken leaves, flowers and branches from her own garden and arranged them on the silk and then painted over them. When the botanical pieces are removed their ethereal silhouette remains in white. By layering different items and adding sections of sky blue in between, she's created the effect of a beautiful garden on a perfect summer day. It's an ingenious method that gives a fresh, contemporary look.
