Everything about this coat is superlative: from the rich, rose pink tuxedo silk outer paired with a gold shantung silk lining, to the astounding geometric design in white and blue that wraps around the back and extends to the front, rendered with exquisite precision as only Valentin Arrellin can do. The design has a look that is both ancient and contemporary, part tribal mandala and part modern art. The blue to white fade suggests a morning glory flower, capped on the back side with a crown of half circle designs for added impact.
The color alone is a stand out look, but Arrellin then takes it even farther for an end effect that is truly exceptional. Wear over a column of black, or a gold shell and slim gold pant for a more unusual look and feel your spirit bloom.

Valentin Arrellin's Bio

Zacatecas, Mexico

“I am from Zacatecas, a colonial and mining city in central Mexico. I graduated as a Mining Engineer in 2000 from Zacatecas University and worked on 4 different underground mines for 2 years. After I graduated, I decided I didn’t like mining. I moved to Santa Fe in 2002 and fell in love with its adobe houses, Spanish and Native American culture and its art. All of this inspired me to create and illustrate.”

“Being in engineering school prompted me to fall in love with Geometry. Sacred Geometry caught my attention. It is in everyone, everywhere and everything from the tiniest particle, human bodies, animals, plants, planets, galaxies and the universe itself. My art is based in nature and it’s natural patterns and shapes, from the microcosm to the macrocosm.”

“The study of Sacred Geometry has always been fascinating to me, from both scientific and spiritual points of view. There are times when people who advocate one facet of Sacred Geometry scoff at the people on the other side of the fence. Nonetheless, it cannot be denied that the study of Sacred Geometry, whether for scientific or spiritual purposes, is something that can blow the mind away.”
