Jessica Doh is our unrivaled floral master, and has completed another sumptuous floral piece for us, this time in rich Royal Blue shantung silk with a Silver shantung lining. Who says there's no silver lining? At Singular Couture we specialize in them... and they're silk!

Seeing this rich spray of flowers against the deep blue background, Jessica imagined a heavenly backdrop and titled the piece "Celestial Bloom" accordingly. We agree that it has a blissful appeal. Her brushwork, always painterly and artful, starts on one side and wraps around the body of the coat to end on the opposite side in a soft, upward, spiral movement.

For an added touch, she painted a section of the inside which gives a lovely surprise when you catch a glimpse of it, or shows in full when worn in reverse with the silver on the outside (just have your dry cleaner remove the tags and it's fully reversible!)

Can't you imagine what you'd look like in this spectacular coat over basic black with delicate silver jewelry. What a gorgeous sight!

Jessica Doh's Bio

New York City

“I am an abstract sculptor, painter and textile designer. I was born in Seoul, Korea, and studied Fine Art at the University of California at Irvine. I received my BFA from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. My love for the culture and art of New York City brought me to this city three decades ago. Today, I live in Long Island City and make a living as a freelance artist.”

“My work explores my lifelong fascination with the relationship of colors to shapes, and revels in the juxtaposition of the intended and unintended. Often the most beautiful things I create are unexpected and unforeseen. It is my hope to share some of these moments through my work.”
